This is so totally cool …

Well, actually, it’s hot. About 200 million degrees. You know, I can remember growing crystals of various types as a science project when I was in school – nuclear fusion was not an option.

Of course, the article’s title misled me – when I see “Radioactive Boy Scout,” I think of David Hahn.

Not to mention that winning a science fair was never this lucrative when I was a boy. My question about this story, though, is this: is it really the 66th year of the Intel Science Talent Search?
