When I was in high school, I wanted to build a <a href=\"http:\/\/kevinthewise.com\/hover\/index.php\">Yellow Jacket<\/a>. Never did, though. I&#8217;ve seen <a href=\"http:\/\/pl745.pairlitesite.com\/programming\/bios17.php\">Courtney Willis<\/a> (scroll down) demonstrate a simple hovercraft built with a shop-vac and a large piece of plywood and said, &#8220;I could do that &#8230; but I don&#8217;t have the room.&#8221; I see the hovercraft toys available now and think, &#8220;Where were these when <em>I<\/em> was a kid?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>You know, the human-powered hovercraft at the first link looks interesting, although I didn&#8217;t see how it was steered.
