First, the hockey stick graph was discredited a few years ago. Even if you consider it valid, however, <a href=\"http:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2009\/12\/12\/historical-video-perspective-our-current-unprecedented-global-warming-in-the-context-of-scale\/\">try examining it in longer-term historical context<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Second, the East Anglia CRU records showed an increasing temperature trend for Antarctica. <a href=\"http:\/\/noconsensus.wordpress.com\/2009\/12\/13\/ghcn-antarctic-warming-eight-times-actual\/\">I wonder how that happened<\/a>. Comments <a href=\"http:\/\/noconsensus.wordpress.com\/2009\/12\/13\/ghcn-antarctic-warming-eight-times-actual\/#comment-15522\">#13<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/noconsensus.wordpress.com\/2009\/12\/13\/ghcn-antarctic-warming-eight-times-actual\/#comment-15554\">#26<\/a> in the thread are also interesting.<\/p>\n<p>Third, the <a href=\"http:\/\/wattsupwiththat.com\/2009\/12\/14\/whats-going-on-cru-takes-down-briffa-tree-ring-data-and-more\/\">East Anglia CRU has problems<\/a> &#8211; data that has been online for years is no longer available on their site. They&#8217;re either doing a clumsy attempt to cover things up, or their IT department is staffed by incompetents. Or both.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth, the British Met (Meteorology) Office has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.metoffice.gov.uk\/climatechange\/news\/latest\/uk-science-statement.html\">a long list of scientists who still believe in AGW<\/a>, and don&#8217;t think the current situation detracts from its validity.
