{"id":77,"date":"2007-02-17T13:29:57","date_gmt":"2007-02-17T19:29:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bendreth.com\/?p=77"},"modified":"2007-02-19T18:47:07","modified_gmt":"2007-02-20T00:47:07","slug":"the-morning-after-the-night-before","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bendreth.com\/?p=77","title":{"rendered":"The morning after the night before"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.resurrectionsong.com\/index.php\/weblog\/rocky_mountain_blogger_bash_60\/\">RMBB 6.0<\/a> has come and gone, and the first thing I have to say about it is &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s no alarm clock as effective and unwelcome as a cat on a diet.<\/p>\n<p>It was a good evening. I met several people I hadn&#8217;t previously met, renewed various acquaintances, and had a number of good conversations. I talked music (playing instruments and jamming) with <a href=\"http:\/\/goyishekop.blogspot.com\/\">Jeff<\/a>, let <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anachronista.blogspot.com\/\">Anachronista<\/a> know that I was familiar with her brand of wierdness, and had a nice discussion with <a href=\"http:\/\/iquitforlijit.typepad.com\/i_quit_for_lijit\/\">Tara<\/a> (who was disappointed that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piratewiggles.com\/\">Cheryl<\/a> left early) and her friends, although Tyler was fairly quiet.<\/p>\n<p>I brought some <a href=\"http:\/\/inflex.com\/\">exercise tapes<\/a> that I&#8217;d promised for <a href=\"http:\/\/vodkapundit.com\/\">Stephen<\/a>. Good news: it&#8217;s good that I brought them, because the address I had for him is out of date. Bad news: he doesn&#8217;t have a VCR anymore. I&#8217;ll have to try to copy them to DVD (something that hasn&#8217;t worked for me quite properly, yet).<\/p>\n<p>The party moved from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wynkoop.com\/\">Wynkoop Brewery<\/a> to Enotecas Trios later in the evening, and I managed to last until almost midnight before the smoke got to be too much for me. I&#8217;m still bothered by some left in my nostrils. That, or I&#8217;m hallucinating the smell of stale tobacco.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, a good time.
