You know, I can remember growing crystals of various types as a science project when I was in school &#8211; nuclear fusion was <i>not<\/i> an option.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, the article&#8217;s title misled me &#8211; when I see &#8220;Radioactive Boy Scout,&#8221; I think of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dangerouslaboratories.org\/radscout.html\">David Hahn<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention that winning a science fair was never <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sltrib.com\/ci_5439347\">this<\/a> lucrative when I was a boy. My question about this story, though, is this: is it <em>really<\/em> the 66th year of the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.intel.com\/intel\/anniversary\/\">Intel<\/a><\/em> Science Talent Search?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, actually, it&#8217;s hot.
