Last night, Marion and I finally got around to seeing Mamma Mia! We’d seen the Broadway show and enjoyed it, and figured the scenery of the Greek islands would be pretty nice, too.

Marion’s comment afterward was that the movie was more frenetic than the Broadway production. I agreed – the larger cast and not being limited to a stage allowed for more activity. I also said I liked the Broadway show’s disco costumes more … they were glitzier and less subdued, thus more fun. Of course, it’s hard for either of them to match up with the costumes in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, which also features the music of ABBA.

And, speaking of ABBA, and bringing things around to the title of this post, in most shrines, you have worshippers. In the ABBA shrine, though …
